I miss this retarded sampat kampong girl! She left for Singapore just today, and I think she arrived about 3 hours ago by car.

How did I know Yen? Good question.
.
.
.

.
.
.
I met her while I was working freelance as a showgirl/event promoter. Yen is the first from the left in the above picture. And that was just about a month ago, on June 28th 2008.

Yup. I only know her for a month.

But it feels like we’ve been friends for years. Because we have alot of things in common.

Ever since the TM Triple play job, we’ve gotten to know each other more, and realized that we have quite a number of similarities with each other. For instance, we both live in SUBANG. Seriously.

And so happen at that moment I was working in the exhibition management office in USJ9, remember? And SOO coincidently my office wanted to hire another part time staff. So I recommended her to come join me. And so she did.

Ever since then, we’ve been seeing each other for almost everyday. See her face until very boring already. From Monday till Sunday you know. But now even if I wanna see her jakun face, I have to go all the way to Singapore la weh. Unless she buys a webcam.
.
.

I went out with her 2 days ago, Tuesday, just to meet up with her before she leaves for S’pore. I picked her up and went to Pyramid, had dinner and talk about alooooott of stuffs.
.
.
.

.
.
.

We ate in Gasoline. I kinda fancy that place tho. Cos they have nice drinks seriously, a bit pricy tho.

Like I’ve mentioned earlier, we have a lot of things in common. Firstly, she’s doing Arts as well. Animation. She was previously in The One Academy, considering now she went to S’pore to a diff college. Secondly, she’s the youngest in the family. The list goes on.

You know, even her family is almost similar to mine! Her mom is just like MY mom. Housewife. Cooks. Same characters and attitude, like how they prepare our meals reallllly early of the day. Simple example. Like if we don’t wanna eat dinner at home tomorrow night, we must tell our moms like the early morning before tomorrow.

Even our dads. From all the stories we shared, it’s like we always can relate it back to ourselves. It’s really a rare coinsidence that you can find a friend like this.
.
.
.

.
.
.

And also, we both hate wearing jeans and long pants. We love wearing shorts, and we don’t care where we’re going, we still love wearing shorts. I thought I was the weird one who hates wearing jeans, cos it’s like super hot in Msia and your leg gets itchy and all.. well who knew she’s as weird as I am. SHORTS ARE D BOMB

Yen also worked together with me during the CosmoBeaute Asia Exhibition in PWTC. We shared the same hotel room together and had heaps of fun.

I remember there was one night after work, we took the LRT from PWTC to Pasar Rakyat. I cannot believe this girl never went to Petaling Street before. Kampong betul kampong weh.

So that night we walked over to Petaling Street aka Chee Cheong Kai to look see look see. There got a lot of Chinese people. And very scary chinese speaking chinese guys who kept trying to sell us DVDs. Maybe it’s some Chinese porn. I dont know.

Yen was very shocked to see the atmosphere of Petaling Street to be something like THAT. Damn jakun lor she never go Chee Cheong Kai before, I still cannot believe it.

There was this chinese seller, he said, “Leng lui you dropped something lah..” in cantonese,

And Yen really turned back and look at the floor to see what she dropped. And they laughed at us. At this point, I had no other reasons to not believe that it was her first time going to Petaling Street. LOL

When we wanted to leave that very-dodgy-stuffy-chinese-place, we somehow got lost. We walked round and round and round but we couldn’t find the LRT station where we dropped off from. Can die. That time already almost 11pm. The last train is at 11:30pm summore.

We tried asking a few people for directions, but they don’t seem to know where the LRT station is too. They only knew where KTM station was. SAD LA LRT NOT FAMOUS

I clearly remembered the exact time that night. We walked for 43 minutes in KL just to search for the LRT station. FORTY THREE MINUTES. Two girls all alone in the stranded streets of KL at the time close to midnight. Memories weh..

Well finally we found our destination in the end. But it was 11:30pm already, thank God the last train haven’t left yet. By the time we got back to our hotel room, we were dead exhausted.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Another thing in common that we have is that she doesn’t take spicy food. No chilli. No curry. Same same like me. Now this is REALLY rare to find seriously. I feel the bond weh..
.
.
.

.
.
.

In pyramid that day after dinner, she wanted to eat some fruits.

She bought some pineapples, and poured some sauce..
.
.
.

.
.
.

Silly that she didn’t know it was Rojak sauce, and it was spicy until she couldn’t tahan that she could drink 10 gallons of water. But I was nicely laughing my ass off looking at her suffer. Hahahahah. Very funny
.
.

We went to J.Co’s later on, because I was craving for their donuts. Thank God there wasn’t a long queue.. Heh
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

See her horny face. She’s been a very fun verbally horny partner of mine during the nights in legend hotel. hahahah okay sounds sick
.
.
.

.
.
.
She insisted that she wants an ugly photo together. Anything for the princess that’s no longer gonna be here lah.
.
.

It was really really nice seeing and getting to know you girl. Though we only met for a month, but it’s not like we will never meet again. When I’ve renewed my passport, I’ll go S’pore and find youuuuuu (:

Don’t forget your Malaysian friends here. Most importantly, DON’T FORGET ME! Or I’ll come rape you in your dreams.

I had lots and lots and lots of fun hanging out with you. It’s really something that I’ll always remember and am already missing it. You’re a great friend and no matter how you are there, good or bad, happy or sad, let me know! We can always share our problems.

Walaupun kami tidak berjumpa dan dua insan berjauhan, namun hati kami masihlah tergabung sebagai satu.

HAHAHA Jiwang doh.

Take care there weh.. anything can always call! Use Skype, it’s free =p  Or you can email. Or sms. Or MSN. Now technology very canggih. So there’s no reason to why you cannot keep in touch with me.

I’ll miss you Yenang!! (:  Love ya, muahh!

I’ve Been Sooooooooo Tied Down

Filed under: College, Outings — Cheryl

…. and I still am, as a fatter of fact.

Assignments, assignments, assignments!

Pilling up more and more day by day. I’m like, WHATTHEHECK, there has, AT LEAST, got to be a fullstop to this sometime somewhere man. Or even a comma would be really helpful in this situation!

I’ve been so tied down with all my artwork, that I have no time to blog and update. So saddening. Even more saddening when I’m seeing my other friends who are still so very free, funning around, going shopping and yamcha-ing at late nights.

Sheeeesh.

I wanna go to a party. I wanna meet up with old friends. I wanna go shopping. I miss going clubbing. I wanna drink. I NEED TO FCK’N CHILLL man.

But well, knowing that wouldn’t be till quite a while more, so here are some pictures I have when my sister, Nick and I went to Genting just last weekend.

Enjoy.

(Don’t ask me what bug is that, I suck in insects and things that fly around. I’m just good in killing them)

We three were having a drink at Starbucks, and we played the Helicopter game in the iPhone. Helicopter is a very addictive game, mind you. They have it online too.
.
.

And you know, I have this class, it’s called Creative Studies, where they teach you how to be….. creative (like duhh right). No, I’m serious.

And Creative Studies assignments are just… the craziest. We REALLY have to think beyond the line and outside the box man.

Based on the animal we chose (I chose a poodle, and no, that doesn’t classify me as a bimbo), we have to transform or compare how an object is similar to the animal we chose. So my object chosen was Volkswagen Beetle, and animal was Poodle. I was like how the hell these two can be related and have similarities. We even hadda paint our final drawing out! And this was what I came out with.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Excuse the drawing and painting though. Just a very simple cartoonish art here. But my point is, we can really go bald in creative studies class. REALLY. This is just one of the easiest assignment, by the way.

Oh and speaking of work, I have Life Drawing Measurement test tomorrowwwwwwwww. Shit. I’m gonna try to take pictures tomorrow, and post it up here to let you guys see how my tests are like.

Since I don’t have to deal with figures, or scientific terms, or mathematical formulae, or calculators or algebra anymore, and my tests in coll now are totally different from many others, I think it’ll be interesting to share how semester tests in Limkokwing go about.

Eheh.

Till then, all you take care. (:

Guess Who’s Back?

Aaaaah!

Okay okay. Not who IS back, but who WAS back.
.
.
.

.
.
.

YEA! She came back for the CNY hols for 5 days.. 5th till the 10th February. And OBVIOUSLY, we went out n met up with her. I mean, how can we not? The bitch is back in town yo.

Chee Mun, Bren and I arrived Pyramid earlier that day as Michelle wasn’t there yet. Or why not put it this way, Michelle was just relatively late. Yes, not fashionably late.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

Oh yes. We sat and chilled at Starbucks; Brenda’s current Heaven, considering in National Service in Miri, Sarawak, the nearest Starbucks outlet she could find was in Kuching. YAY??  A ‘L-O-L’ for me.

Well at least she said she managed to find Coffee Bean in Miri.. which was not too far away from her NS camp. Knowing Bren, a coffee lover/addict/whatever you want to call it, she was terribly craving for coffee. So she asked her friend, Kavita, who was nearby Coffee Bean at that very moment, to help her buy a cup of coffee.

Weird enough, Kavita came back with a cup ofchocolate drink instead.

No no, it’s not Kavita who’s the weird one, don’t get me wrong. It’s Coffee Bean. Strangely by the name COFFEE Bean, but they didn’t have coffee. No caffeine at all. Written clearly on their menu board, "Only Non-Coffee Drinks Are Available".

Amazing.

This is why, sometimes, Malaysians really amuse me.
.
.

Finally later on, Michelle decided to arrive at Starbucks.

And shall I put it in this way, that the moment she arrived, the first thing she did was, obviously, hugged and greeted Bren.

The second thing? Go’on, you take a wild guess, why don’tcha?
.
.
.

.
.
.

Yea, you clearly didn’t need the wild guess aye.

Hahah.. yes she immediately took out her new digital camera and started camwhoring and taking photos right after hugging Brenda. Mind you, the pictures above before the one of Mich and Bren together, were all also taken only after Michelle arrived.

Well, let’s see. Bren, Chee and I had been sitting down there in Starbucks, for almost an hour plus, and had not taken a single shot of photograph yet. And the woman who arrives much later and the next minute already camwhoring. If that’s not how you use the term ‘biggest camwhorer’, then I don’t know when or how you would use it.

Lol she’s gonna burn me after reading this. :P
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

And for weeks we’ve been missing this Bum, we wouldn’t miss a tripod shot.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

In NS, I don’t know how she does it, how she survives there without me.. cos,
.
.
.

..we’re so happy together.. okay gay.
.
.
.

.
.
.

And since Bren became all kampong and ulu for her one month plus training there so far, we decided to show her what donuts were.J.Co donuts. (since she can’t get it there)
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

She’ll be saying that I’m the bitchy one, for ever still making fun of her :P

Chee was sooo nice to buy us half a dozen box of J.Co’s. yummmm
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

See what I told’ya, she’s all kampong and ulu now. Donut also dunno how to eat already.

To add to the fun, Nat came and arrived not long later! And we took a nice group photo. In China.
.
.
.

(From L to R, Myself, Chee, Michelle, Bren, Nat.. and coinsidently, four of us are in black, except chee. lol)

See, the background… memang like Cina weh..
.
.

And to end this post where I’m already missing this bitchy woman,
.
.
.

.
.
.

Ya got it right, black is always in. Lucky you Bren, you’re always ‘in’.

Ahahahaha I know you still love me. :P

Picture Posting Day

Filed under: Friends, Outings — Cheryl
27 Jan

Because of my own laziness today, I’m self-declaring it a Picture Posting Day; whereby I need not say much, and as the famous line goes– "Let the pictures do the talking."

One of the days when Michelle and I were off from work, we decided to pay a small short visit to The Mines Shopping Complex. The last time I actually remember going there was… hmmmm, more than 8 years ago?

Yes.

8 years back, and 8 years from then, The Mines was still, well I’d say, still rather dead. Nothing much to see, nothing much to shop, nothing much to eat.
.
.
.

.
.

Don’t mind the picture quality, would you? I didn’t bring my camera along.

And oh, let me introduce you to two little new faces in my blog here. Michelle’s sisters. I-Jen and I-Min.

Heeee.

I’m at home now. In my home. Yeah. My own home."Nothing feels like home".. I truly understand that quote now.
.
.

Sadly, I’m back on schedule for work again starting from tomorrow morning onwards, for a week’s period. But not to worry, I’m still gonna update my lil’ precious princess here in between the free time that I have. I feel that I have so much to say. So many things to share. So many things to wonder and to ask. But I don’t know which one or where to begin with.
