I miss this retarded sampat kampong girl! She left for Singapore just today, and I think she arrived about 3 hours ago by car.

How did I know Yen? Good question.
.
.
.

.
.
.
I met her while I was working freelance as a showgirl/event promoter. Yen is the first from the left in the above picture. And that was just about a month ago, on June 28th 2008.

Yup. I only know her for a month.

But it feels like we’ve been friends for years. Because we have alot of things in common.

Ever since the TM Triple play job, we’ve gotten to know each other more, and realized that we have quite a number of similarities with each other. For instance, we both live in SUBANG. Seriously.

And so happen at that moment I was working in the exhibition management office in USJ9, remember? And SOO coincidently my office wanted to hire another part time staff. So I recommended her to come join me. And so she did.

Ever since then, we’ve been seeing each other for almost everyday. See her face until very boring already. From Monday till Sunday you know. But now even if I wanna see her jakun face, I have to go all the way to Singapore la weh. Unless she buys a webcam.
.
.

I went out with her 2 days ago, Tuesday, just to meet up with her before she leaves for S’pore. I picked her up and went to Pyramid, had dinner and talk about alooooott of stuffs.
.
.
.

.
.
.

We ate in Gasoline. I kinda fancy that place tho. Cos they have nice drinks seriously, a bit pricy tho.

Like I’ve mentioned earlier, we have a lot of things in common. Firstly, she’s doing Arts as well. Animation. She was previously in The One Academy, considering now she went to S’pore to a diff college. Secondly, she’s the youngest in the family. The list goes on.

You know, even her family is almost similar to mine! Her mom is just like MY mom. Housewife. Cooks. Same characters and attitude, like how they prepare our meals reallllly early of the day. Simple example. Like if we don’t wanna eat dinner at home tomorrow night, we must tell our moms like the early morning before tomorrow.

Even our dads. From all the stories we shared, it’s like we always can relate it back to ourselves. It’s really a rare coinsidence that you can find a friend like this.
.
.
.

.
.
.

And also, we both hate wearing jeans and long pants. We love wearing shorts, and we don’t care where we’re going, we still love wearing shorts. I thought I was the weird one who hates wearing jeans, cos it’s like super hot in Msia and your leg gets itchy and all.. well who knew she’s as weird as I am. SHORTS ARE D BOMB
.
.
.

.
.
.

Yen also worked together with me during the CosmoBeaute Asia Exhibition in PWTC. We shared the same hotel room together and had heaps of fun.

I remember there was one night after work, we took the LRT from PWTC to Pasar Rakyat. I cannot believe this girl never went to Petaling Street before. Kampong betul kampong weh.

So that night we walked over to Petaling Street aka Chee Cheong Kai to look see look see. There got a lot of Chinese people. And very scary chinese speaking chinese guys who kept trying to sell us DVDs. Maybe it’s some Chinese porn. I dont know.

Yen was very shocked to see the atmosphere of Petaling Street to be something like THAT. Damn jakun lor she never go Chee Cheong Kai before, I still cannot believe it.

There was this chinese seller, he said, “Leng lui you dropped something lah..” in cantonese,

And Yen really turned back and look at the floor to see what she dropped. And they laughed at us. At this point, I had no other reasons to not believe that it was her first time going to Petaling Street. LOL

When we wanted to leave that very-dodgy-stuffy-chinese-place, we somehow got lost. We walked round and round and round but we couldn’t find the LRT station where we dropped off from. Can die. That time already almost 11pm. The last train is at 11:30pm summore.

We tried asking a few people for directions, but they don’t seem to know where the LRT station is too. They only knew where KTM station was. SAD LA LRT NOT FAMOUS

I clearly remembered the exact time that night. We walked for 43 minutes in KL just to search for the LRT station. FORTY THREE MINUTES. Two girls all alone in the stranded streets of KL at the time close to midnight. Memories weh..

Well finally we found our destination in the end. But it was 11:30pm already, thank God the last train haven’t left yet. By the time we got back to our hotel room, we were dead exhausted.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Another thing in common that we have is that she doesn’t take spicy food. No chilli. No curry. Same same like me. Now this is REALLY rare to find seriously. I feel the bond weh..
.
.
.

.
.
.

In pyramid that day after dinner, she wanted to eat some fruits.

She bought some pineapples, and poured some sauce..
.
.
.

.
.
.

Silly that she didn’t know it was Rojak sauce, and it was spicy until she couldn’t tahan that she could drink 10 gallons of water. But I was nicely laughing my ass off looking at her suffer. Hahahahah. Very funny
.
.

We went to J.Co’s later on, because I was craving for their donuts. Thank God there wasn’t a long queue.. Heh
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

See her horny face. She’s been a very fun verbally horny partner of mine during the nights in legend hotel. hahahah okay sounds sick
.
.
.

.
.
.

She insisted that she wants an ugly photo together. Anything for the princess that’s no longer gonna be here lah.
.
.
.

.
.
.

It was really really nice seeing and getting to know you girl. Though we only met for a month, but it’s not like we will never meet again. When I’ve renewed my passport, I’ll go S’pore and find youuuuuu (:

Don’t forget your Malaysian friends here. Most importantly, DON’T FORGET ME! Or I’ll come rape you in your dreams.

I had lots and lots and lots of fun hanging out with you. It’s really something that I’ll always remember and am already missing it. You’re a great friend and no matter how you are there, good or bad, happy or sad, let me know! We can always share our problems.

Walaupun kami tidak berjumpa dan dua insan berjauhan, namun hati kami masihlah tergabung sebagai satu.

HAHAHA Jiwang doh.

Take care there weh.. anything can always call! Use Skype, it’s free =p  Or you can email. Or sms. Or MSN. Now technology very canggih. So there’s no reason to why you cannot keep in touch with me.

I’ll miss you Yenang!! (:  Love ya, muahh!
.
.

Yours truly,
Cheryl, in need of a car.

Muahahahahaha like horror movie or not?

ANYWAYYY,

Hello All!!

I know, it takes me hell long to just give one simple update. Like, why the hell right..

Sorry lah machas. I’m busy working and earning MORE money. I like. Since this Wednesday till today was the last day, I was working in PWTC for an exhibition, as a showgirl kind of thing. Boring, but good pay I tell you. I smell money $$

I’ll update on that exhibition after I’m finished with the job. For now, these are some of the pictures I took during my previous exhibition job, the CosmoBeaute Asia Exhibition in PWTC from 14th to 17th July 2008.

I worked with a bunch of very friendly, crazy, fun and funny people, and I really miss working with them. Cos it’s like going there to have fun and play around but getting paid.

Firstly, while we were walking down the hallway looking for our hotel room…
.
.
.

.
.
.

Why? Because our room is the one right at the very end, at the centre of the T-junction. If some of you didn’t know, some Chineses belive that it is very pantang to live in a house or room of that position. Bad fengshui, so I was told.
.
.
.

.
.
.

It’s Legend Hotel in Kuala Lumpur that we were living in. Basically cos Legend Hotel is just directly opposite of PWTC. Convenient, I suppose.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Oh and when I meant OUR and US, it’s as in my friend, Yen and I. Gabriel also shared the same room as us.
.
.
.

.
.
.

And considering we were staying for a few nights in KL, and we’re actually pretty nearby the Heritage Road.. so we bumped over to Maison on one of those nights. That’s Yen up there in black & gold, hot aye, I know. :P  First time clubbing with that retarded girl weh. She’s damn fun to hang with.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Every morning we get to eat complimentary buffet breakfast. Fun right.
.
.
.

.
.
.

And every morning, Yen and I confirm will eat eggs. Tell me about the cholesterol and fats man.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

The exhibition ends at 6pm. So when it’s like 7 something, the whole hall is already cleared and empty, nobody’s there. And these bunch of playful monkeys had their fame on stage for 30seconds, with no audiences.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

On one of those exhibition nights, a small get-together party was organized for the exhibitors.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

And this is where I was stationed throughout the whole exhibition days; The Organizer Office.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

I worked in the organizer office with Henry and Ruth.. two lovely people to me. No, actually one. Ruth, that is. Henry is a meanie and always bitchy with me. Though he acts like he cares a lot, but deep down inside I know he enjoys seeing me suffer. Evil. Right my dear?
.
.
.

.
.
.

And this is Rex, also known as Chin Foo. He’s another brat that I got to know and got closer with during the exhibition days apart from Evil Henry. He’s always cracking jokes but he doesn’t realizes it, always the playful one. And it was shitting funny when we had to bribe a corrupted policeman in KL for almost, mind you, ALMOST doing an illegal U-turn (meaning we actually didn’t even make the illegal turn). And the time when he parked outside of Seri Pacific Hotel for the whole entire night and the next day realized his car got cramped and locked for parking there.

LOL.
.
.

Also not forgetting how sometimes these boys cannot resist each other and some scandals happen..
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

And that was how CosmoBeaute exhibition was. I actually really really had loads of fun working there. I was exactly a week away from home. I lived with friends, and we took care of each other. Especially Yen and I. I also met a lot of new friends who are really nice people. Especially Rex and Henry. Though they’re mean and sarcastic and all at times, but they’re heaps fun and I miss them a lot. David and Gabriel also were really fun to hang with. I miss Yen soooo much. Sleeping with her for a week, and now she’s not with me anymore! Noooooooo! Okay gay.

I miss the times we went out to yamcha and our midnight gossips in the hotel room. I miss the 1 week freedom I had. Away from all the stress and pressure from family, other issues and etc. I miss living independently.

Oh well.

Anyway, time to go off for a mani, and a pedi. (:  I feel all princessy!

Why?

Because 4 days of working in KL is already killing me! The air there is sooooo filthy that when I breathe I can literally taste dust and dirt!

So I’m just rewarding myself. Well sort of.

Alright all. Till the next update, tata for now.
.
.

Yours truly,
Cheryl, I miss you all

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAREST GILA GILLIE GAN!

I LOVE YOU HEAPPPPSSS AND MISSING YOU LIKE SHIEETT!

Thanks for your super touching letter, though it arrived only 20days after you sent it, but it meant a whole lot. And wait for my reply. It should arrive approx 20days later as well, knowing Malaysia’s postmail system. LOL.I have no old pictures with me now, how depressing. I just reformatted my whole pc, and yet to transfer the files. Or not I would post up some of our sweet old photos we took together Gillie.

I actually teared reading the letter you sent me, which was 3 pages long! I was shocked but darn happy to hear from you. And while reading every word you wrote, all our times together just flashed back in my mind one by one.

Like you said, the shoelaces moment! Cheerleading! Studies! Shopping! I miss them so, as much as I miss talking to you. Eh I can still remember your malaysian handphone number you know! Die also I’ll still remember it, seriously. That’s how much we talk and call each other over the phone, from simple words like “Hey wanna go out later” to long long long conversations.
.
.

Gillie, once a friend, always a friend. No matter how far we’ve drifted apart, or how many obstacles and rough talks we’ve gone through together, but us being good friends is a fact that will never change. And please, stop saying that you were never good enough and all. I’m not accepting that babe.

What about those times you stood by my side whenever I needed support? What about all the times you willingly lent me your ears when I needed to pour my heart out? What about the times you spared your most busy moments just to give me incredible advices?

You said I’m your motivator. The truth is, you motivate me to motivate you.

As cheesy as it may sound, but you were and always are something in my life that I’ll never forget or leave behind. We literally grew up together. Just that now you’re in Aus, I’m missing you and our old times dearly.

It was aweeesomeee to hear you over the phone today. Felt like I haven’t spoken to you in yearssss. And when I mentioned I miss you, and I love you, I meant it gillie. I don’t want to keep talking about our past, because I know there will be a future. We will have more and more fun together once you’re back here again, I cannot wait to see you.

Also, I hope Aus’s treating you fine there. Apart from exams and all, I hope you’re doing great, and happy there. If there’s ever a time that you feel down, or you feel like the whole world is against you, just don’t forget you’ve got me to turn to, to lean on to. You have me, you have your family, you have US.

Happy birthday once again hunn. Much love, and all the best for your upcoming tests! English & Maths on your bday aye.. lol. Don’t study hard, study smart. Sejarah, remember? ;)

Love you loadsssss Gillie!! Muahhh xoxo.
.
.

Yours truly, Cheryl, missing you dearly..

Busy Earning Money
icon1 Cheryl | icon2 Friends, Work | icon4 07 5th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Hello world.I am a very busy girl now. I am busy working and earning money. Feeding my wallet really fat and full. I like.

But what I don’t like, I got no time to blog. I just finished work and settled down n came home n here I am.

EHHHHHHHHHHH….

I like my new jobs lah weh. Damn fun. I mean, last time as you all know, I always work for the fragrance and makeup line like Christian Dior, Lancome, Ralph Lauren etc… This time I’m taking up all event jobs. Mostly the event jobs are on weekends. So to fill my time and make sure that my wallet keeps growing fatter every single day, I decided to do telemarketing on weekdays, which actually, this office is also an event management company. Which means, I have an exhibition job to work for this company next week at PWTC.

Niceeeeeee. Can meet a lot of new friends, seriously.

Last weekend I worked for TM Triple Play in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. It’s an event promoting the 3 tournaments which are gonna be held in August; 3on3 basketball, Futsal and Paintball.

.
.
.

From left to right, Yen, Sen Si, Penny, Aki, Cheryl, Natalie @ Mid Valley Exhibition Centre
.
.

Bunch of nice girls I tell you. And want to know something so coinsident? I had to take the KTM and LRT to Mid Valley. While waiting for the train, Yen was sitting next to me all the while. We both didn’t know each other yet and we couldn’t tell that we both were gonna work for TM cos we haven’t wore our uniforms yet.Mana tau see see.. met her at work. And she lives in Subang too. And I introduced her to work in ECMI too. So we both are gonna work in the same exhibition event also. Awesome weh. I like.

Natalie, Penny and Me.
.
.

Today I was working for TM Triple Play as well, but this time it’s in Pyramid. It’s a roadshow thingy, so yeah. Gonna be there tomorrow too.Gotta wake up early again tomorowwwwwww.. sigh. So okay yeah. Bedtime. =)

Psssst. I cut my hair again just 2 day ago. I know how I keep saying I want to keep it long again and I’m gonna resist from cutting it and shits… but yeah. When a girl wants a haircut, the girl’s gotta get the haircut. I didn’t wanna cut back the old style like cos I’m so bloody sick of it for now and everybody on the street is having the same common hairstyle, so screw that. I just layered it short and simple.
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

I suddenly like taking photos with my handphone ah. I feel happier. Nyiahahaaha
.
.

AND OH, Introducing a blogger back in the blogosphere……

MELAYU WANNABE aka JOEL JEREMIAH GAN.
.
.

.
.
.

I was having a hard time choosing the colour for his name in the picture above. But since Joel is just plain gay, so pink is his favourite colour. Suits him too I know.

And this is a sneak preview of his Melayu-wannabe blog..
.
.
.

.
.
.

Told you. Summore must berpantun in bahasa melayu.

Eh Melayu, I don’t care. You asked me to publicize your new blog, and now I want my ice cream as promised. Muahahahahahahaa.
.
.

Yours truly,
Cheryl, psssttt… thanks for the strawberries (:

.
.
.

Eh although I had my doll fringe haircut, but I still can style it back the way it was before. Not bad ah.. like magic. Okay la, maybe it’s shorter a bit.

ANYWAYYYYYYYY

Yeaaaah Ah Long turned 18 last Saturday!

We celebrated at Coco Banana on friday night, and the party was wild and hawt. Everybody had fun. We all danced the entire night and opened 9 bottles of chivas and weren’t enough. Finished all 9 like pretty damn fast. Tsk tsk. All alcos man. This party was huggeeee. We had like 40 or 40++ friends over in Coco.

What can we say.. Ah Long mah!
.
.
.

.
.
.

The saddest thing about the party was nobody took any photos. Hah! Seriously. It was that fun until no one had the time and bothered to take pictures, all too busy.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Coco Banana. (Sorry I pao-ed the coco pics from this site called ellone.com. Credits to ellone.com. Thanks)

That night nobody got wasted, except Joel Ang and Lionel. Hahaa. Girls were all alright, though some were tipsy n all. But yeah. All cool. It was another sober night for myself, but I still had heaps fun, apart from Jitz and I trying to settle the bill with Derrick.

Everyone hit the dance floor. And Coco played pretty good songs that Friday night. They had R&B first.. and later on about 1am or so, they played some House slash techno songs.. but back on to R&B again. So overall, pretty good.

My reviews for Coco is that it’s a pretty damn nice place, though the lightings are brighter than Bar Celona, but they had nice neon lightings tho. The setting of the place was nice. Dancefloor beats Bar Celona’s flat. Like hands down. And yeah, I suppose going there with a big bunch of friends is pretty fun. Nice place for a party. Not sure if it would just as fun if we were to go in smaller group though. (:
.
.

The next day, which is Saturday, her actual birthday day, we had dinner together with a few close friends in Chili’s Mid Valley.

While waiting for Gerard to pick us up…
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

When we arrived at Chili’s, we were pretty lucky that we only had to wait about 10-20 minutes for a table considering how bloody packed it was at Chili’s that night.

Though we had our seats pretty quick, but for them to come take our orders, it took quite a while. And we were all reaaaaallly hungrayyhhh.
.
.
.

(Ikhwan, Tim, Ah Long Jitz).
.
.

See all the grumpy faces..
.
.
.

(Left: Ethan, Right: Gerard)
.
.

And when our food arrived
.
.
.

.
.
.

.
.
.

Wahh.. these people really look like they can eat a horse ah..
.
.
.

.
.
.

But the worse thing is… you know lah right, Western food, sure use knife and fork lah right. Where got give you chopsticks and soup spoons right..

The moment Ah Long Jitz saw the KNIVES… I knew it. I just knew it.
.
.
.

.
.
.

He has always wanted to kill Tai Ah Long (Michelle) so that he can take over her place and be the Tai Kor of all Tai kors. He always thought by killing her, he will then be the next ruler of all ah longs.

Ah Long Jitz really very brave ahh.. it was Tai Ah Long’s birthday dinner, but he one bit also didn’t give a shiettt I thelll euuu.
.
.
.

.
.
.

And Tai Ah Long also same same didn’t give a shiett about Ah Long Jitz. You see her face there, so tenang although going to get killed soon. Tsk tsk. Ah long memang ah long right.
.
.
.

.
.
.

You know Michelle really becoming damn gangster and damn ah long. It was suppose to be her birthday dinner, but she gangster and ditched all of us for a movie. Pfft. She and SOMEBODY finished their dinner fast fast and left early to rush for their movie at 9:45pm.

Eyyyy.. I damn ‘boh song’ okay.

It ended up to be more like my birthday celebration instead of hers. Even friends called me up, saying “Weh sorry ah can’t make it for dinner later to celebrate..”. And I nicely replying,

“Ehh.. it’s okayy. No worries weh..”

HAPPY. Like my birthday you know.

And and and… And the saddest part is I even planned to talk to the Chili’s workers to do a small birthday celebration for her. Like get her a slice of cake with a candle.. people singing her birthday song n all..

Alaaa chehh. Manatau she left damn early.

I don’t care bitch. You owe us all. You owe me!! I tak puas that night. Must do replacement of celebration I don’t care. Lol :P
(I like to make you feel bad. I thelll euuu… I kehhnot thake itt..)

Sorry inside joke.
.
.

Anyways, I had fun anyhow. Well, now apart from all the partyings and shopping and shits, it’s time I start some work and earch some cash.

I’m starting work tomorrow in this office in USJ9 business center. It’s just a part time temporary job at the moment. So my dear USJ SUBANG friendsssss, kalau senang, jom marilah makan tengah hari bersama-sama.

Gimme a call for lunch weh. I think I break at 1pm. Wish me luck for the first day of work. In an OFFICE.

I wonder what should I wear tomorrow..

Oh waittt.. before I forget, 1 more picture.
.
.
.

.
.
.

I cannot take it. Very confusing. They look like long lost twin brothers ever since Ikhwan got his new hairdo. Both same same. Now we have two Ikhwans and two Timonteks.
.
.

Yours truly,
Cheryl, I can make ice cream!

.

Jun 19

Who’s there?????
.
.
.

.
.
.

Someone got a haircut, well not literally a haircut. But yeah. LOOK WHO HAS BANGS NOW, HAH!

I know, I know. I look like a retarded doll. Who cares? I’m Cheryl Ho.

The other day, my college friends and I went down to Pyramid from Limkokwing cos we had this super duper long breaktime, like 4-5 hours break. So yeah. And guess who I met up with at Pyramid?
.
.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Damn scary leh!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

.
.
.

Serious weh!

AH LONGS!

Ah longs from INTI, that is. Hahahhha. Michelle like samseng lah, ah long wannabe. That day I asked her why she carry such a big bag to college. She secretly whispered to me, "Because I’m Ah Long. Inside I keep my parang".
.
.

Ah Long also asked me to take ALOT of photos with her that day in Pyramid. But I was too scared.
.
.
.

.
.
.

I was scared that later she blackmail me with the photos. And simply take out her parang and try to con me in the Chinese way, saying that one photo with her cost RM10,000. Then I die lah that time.

I tried to runaway but you know lah, ah longs right. She threathened me withred paint. Very typical ah long.
.
.
.

.
.
.

(ALJ stands for Apa Lan Jiao. I know, I just learnt the term too)

You see. I refused to take nice photos with her, and she gangster already showing black ALJ faces. Ah long got fed up with me. Finally, she decided to convince me to be good friends with her. She told me next time if I want to borrow money, clothes, heels, panties, tissue or whatever also, she won’t charge me interest.

She will just ask for 1 photo for each day that I repay her back late.

We had a Chinese to Chinese, Ah Long to Not-Ah Long talk for a while. And I finally decided Ah long wasn’t that bad after all.

So we yamseng with each other and shake shake hands a bit, and became friend friend.
.
.
.

.
.
.

But one thing still, sometimes it’s hard for me to understand Ah Long. She and her very Chinese manners and words. Ah Long also taught me one thing that day, which is how to drink kopi with one leg up on the chair. Ah Long also said that it is very pantang if you don’t shake your leg on and off.

Ah Long is my best friend.
.
.

Oh and also, Ah Long’s birthday is VERY VERY SOON!

It’s this Saturday. So whoever is not scared to party with Ah Long and Ah Long’s friends, we’ll be in Sunway (tomorrow) Friday night. Not sure at Coco Banana or Bar Celona yet. To be confirmed. ;)

Till then, all of you take care. And watch out for all ah longs on the street. Think of your loved ones.
.
.

Yours truly,
Cheryl, Ah Long’s best friend. (:
