My 18th Celebration Part 2

I think I can practically just faint on my keyboard now. I’m dead arse exhausted, and my pretty eyes can barely open.

I had a bad day. Fck’n bad day.

Before that, here’s to my 18th birthday Part 2 first.

Basically Part 2 is with my family. We went to Chilis at Mid Valley for dinner. And the number of times I actually ever dined in Chilis is so countable with just one hand. Fine, to be specific, only twice.

Not forgetting, I can quite as much say we added a little twist in my birthday celebration this year. We went carry-o-kee together! WE as in myself, MOM & DAD (I KNOW RIGHTTTT), Lynnie and Nick. I cannot believe that I actually carry-o-keed with my parents.

Carry-o-kee was never funnier. Dad’s best song that day was I Started A Joke by Bee Gees. Mom’s one was either Teresa Teng’s The Moon Represents My Heart, or Emil Chau’s Friends. I can’t decide which was better. And no, just in case you were wondering, we didn’t just sing all oldies and boring songs.

Lynn’s, Nick’s and my best song that day was SOULJA BOY’S CRANK THAT.

Hahahahahaaa!

And now my mom knows the song, “YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!”

Crank That is soooo carry-o-kee song man. You’ve just got to experience it to understand it.

Thanks Mom & Dad for the birthday cash.

Thanks Lynnie for, gosh, a lot of things. My upgraded RAM. Mavala mascaras. IKEA polka dotted cans. And my “Blog Off” baby tee. (:

Thanks Nick for keeping my blog alive, by renewing my domain (every year, LOL). And for my IKEA shelves! Weee! (Will take photos of my newly decorated artroom, halfway done)

Our usuals, we always get our cakes from Sunway Resort Hotel. Well I choose Tiramisu because we haven’t tried it before. I collected my own birthday cake, by the way. Pathetic or not? But never mind. That’s not the story.

The story is I collected my own birthday cake, went home, and only to find out that they gave me MANGO Tiramisu cake instead of an original Tiramisu cake. WTFKNN.

How? Sure sad lah. You know how I hate fruits being mixed with cakes (apart from STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKES YUMM). And this is what? MANGO!! So Nick called Sunway up and KNNBCB that fella.

Yay! All dramas cut short, I got my tiramisu cake. Peace.

I totally don’t understand them. Sorry, I just don’t like it when my candles are in mixed colours. Just makes the cake looks… cheap. And ugly.

Anyway, here’s the chronology of what happened in my life today:

• Creative Journal submission (managed to complete it on time, and lecturer said nicely well done. SCORE!)
• Printed two pieces of artwork from my thumbdrive in my college’s Print Shop
• The dude didn’t return me my thumbdrive, and I literally forgotten to ask for it back.
• Left the Print Shop without my thumbdrive.
• Arranged for a badminton session today at 3:30pm
• Arrived there, and all courts were taken (normally nobody goes there, what more at that hour)
• Went home, took a quick shower. Dozed off till 7:30pm, and it was dinner time.
• Decided to work on my Design Studies Newsletter which I have to show my layouts to the lecturer tomorrow (meaning today wednesday)
• All assignment files and documents are in my thumbdrive
• And only then to find out that I left my thumbdrive in the Print Shop
• So I’m fucked, and in the thumbdrive, there’re other assignments in it as well.
.
.
.

If that isn’t bad luck, then I don’t know what luck it is. Has gotta be some real shit luck then.

I’ve been running a lot on the bad luck strings these few days. I really feel like crying sometimes, overstressed. Especially when it involves assignments, and what more, LOST assignments.

At times like this, I wouldn’t mind trying all sorts of ways to get some good luck back. Even if I have to go see a bomoh of luck, or bathe in chrysanthemum water, or be vegetarian for few days, or give offerings, I would.

Right now, I just feel like collapsing. And wake up, pretending that none of this shit ever happened.

Sigh, who am I kidding.

Cheryl, SAVE ME SOMEBODY!
