HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER, LYNNIE! which her birthday was yesterday..

Yes. Their birthdays fall on one day after the other. And, I’ll be updating on the birthdays after this post.

Meanwhile, the reason I basically couldn’t spare time for blogging lately, is due to my loaded assignments which are piling up as high as a mountain! Well, not literally. Before that, I’m not sure if you guys do remember me mentioning about my Measurement Test in Life Drawing Class.. and as promised of some pictures, here they are.

This was just the Pre-Test composition. The real test was 3 times more complex than this pre-test one! The lecturer added in like more chairs, and stands, and objects in.. and we had to measure everything to scale! I scored the highest mark in class! Muahah.. Sorry, just a lil overwhelmed with joy.

I have a whole bunch of artwork to share with everyone today. I snapped photos of my artwork.. and just thought of putting them up here. So if you’re gonna be seeing these, I suggest you grab a comfortable pillow and maybe some tasty popcorn and lay back for a while. Cos this is gonna take quite a while, considering how many artwork I have here to share. Eheh  (:

As much as I love the painting just as it is as above, but the assignment was based on secondary colours. And secondary colours means purple and green too. Not quite my favourite colours..  =(

My friends kept telling me on and on, they couldn’t stop saying how my artwork above looked so much like an Arabic lady. And 5 minutes after they left, someone tapped me on the back of my shoulders. I turned, and there stood an Arabic lady asking if she could sit next to me and watch me finish my above artwork. I nearly fainted of the coinsidence that couldn’t just really happened! And to top that, my classmate passed by me, saw my artwork, and said,

"Oh my.. it’s really pretty.. Did you draw her?? It’s amazing!"  (’her’ as in the Arabic girl sitting next to me just then)

Sheeesh. That was freaky. Cos I really didn’t draw any Arabic girl that I know or don’t know of.

The above painting was achieved using Poster Colours, and with a few specific design concepts, which are Simplification, Economic and colour theory of analogous.

This is a Monochromatic painting, using concepts of Modification and Dominant.

The following two artwork are done with only using pencils ranging from F, 2B, 3B, 5B and 6B. Basically these following two are just some quality of lines and shading to create space assignment.

The following artwork is based on Texture. And I’ve applied the techniques of Assemblage and Collage to my knowledge of texture. It is one of my favourite pieces of work, and one of those I’m most proud of..

Right now I’m totally exhausted from the 2-days-outtahome-marathon! I’ve been out from morning till night two days back to back, celebrating my sister’s and dad’s birthday. And I bought quite a few stuffs during shopping just now. It was though as if I didn’t shop for 10 years or something.

Okay, you know… I mean, I know that you know that I haven’t been blogging for quite some time already. And my precious always-loved blog is now turning into a lonely quiet dark street, like your cat just died.. or something.. well, not literally.. but.. AHH, yes. Whatever.

Yeah, I know. It’s been a while since I was the full-time active blogger and all, but to all my dear readers, do forgive me. And I shall try to regain that spirit, or more to like, TIME, for that.. again. Ahahh..

Till the next time I upload alllllll the birthday pictures and tell more stories about my current happening life, ahem, excuse me, :P  but yeah. Won’t be too long away, I promise!

Pssst.. by the way, I’m stucked over Gossip Girl now. Thanks to Michelle. I watched the entire Season 1 Part 1 in 2 days, about 12 hours straight on the couch! Now I feel like being a Gossip Girl. No, wait. Not A Gossip girl, I meant, THE Gossip Girl.
